Green Pigs Kitchen

We went out yesterday knowing that our car was not allowed to under the numbers coding scheme of the MMDA. But we thought what the heck there is a “window” wherein we could go around and do some errands. Anyway, after getting my mother in law’s car insurance we went to two more banks and had to go to another one. But after the second one, I caved and asked that we have lunch first.

Well, the wifey suggested we eat at the place where I got her some take out a while back. We were at BDO rotunda in the Scout Area of South Triangle and I was trying to remember the place. When I did, I couldn’t remember the name. So we just went there straight there instead. It was one of those little nooks that people passing by would miss. Anyway as we settled in our table, we noticed that we were alone with another table of patrons about to leave.

So we ordered, I being the standard kind of guy just ordered their “The Original Pork Belly” which tasted kinda like ribs (it had ribs like sauce on it.) And my partner ordered “Pork Belly Espagnole”. Being the only occupied table when the food arrived we gulped down our food. Well for a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant, the food still tasted great and up to par with some other restaurants within the area.

The ambiance was a little bit sad because we came in around after 1 pm and had the place to ourselves, but then again who cares about ambiance if you’re hungry. For P 440 our lunch was great and I would and could definitely drop by again some other time.
