Starting June, we Filipinos can now enter the country of Taiwan visa-free.  This is because the Philippines was granted this exemption by the Taiwanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).

This was confirmed by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Manila. This visa-free grant will be implemented on trial for one year.  The details are yet to be released by TECO.  Initially, Filipinos may stay in Taiwan for up to 30days visa-free.

TECO Manila will be making a formal announcement on the visa exemption after the holy week.
