Our niece and her family from the states came home for the summer. During the course of their vacation, we spent some time in Cabaña de Zenaida Hot Springs and Log Cabins in Los Baños, Laguna and in Solaire Resort and Casino, courtesy of a very good friend.

The place we liked most was in Bohol. On a random whim, we decided to just book a flight and book a resort with no previous plans whatsoever. The wifey and her sister chose Bohol, so they booked us at Bluewater Panglao and we flew by Air Asia.

Upon arriving at Tagbilaran Airport in Bohol, most of us were famished so we requested the hotel pickup guy to take us somewhere to eat prior to going to the resort. Our driver, Allan, brought us to Golden Cowrie. These were the actual food we had for lunch..

After the sumptuous lunch, we headed for the resort. Upon checking in, I was surprised and at the same time amused that they would brief everyone regarding the setup and layout of the whole resort. Including what times the pool closed and what time breakfast was served.

Their service was great in a way that they would always greet us and ask us if we needed anything. Something that is lacking in even some of the 4 or 5 star hotels and resorts.
